Color Palette White that fits into the city

The "White Tower " will transcend time and space, broadcasting a Future for cities filled with kindness.

The color design of TOKYO SKYTREE is "Skytree White," an original color chosen to harmonize with the surrounding landscape and to reflect its name and design concept: "Creating an urban landscape that transcends time and space: A fusion of Tradition Japanese SKYTREE White and Future design."

Against a backdrop of a blue sky, the TOKYO SKYTREE , adorned in a pale bluish-white color known as " SKYTREE White ," stretches straight up into the sky from the Tokyo cityscape.

SKYTREE White

SKYTREE WHITE

This original color is based on "Aijiro," the lightest shade of indigo dye, a Tradition Japanese color. SKYTREE White also uses white as its base, following the techniques of indigo dyers, adding a bluish tint to the Tower's white. The slightly bluish white, like white porcelain, emits a delicate shimmer.

The colors created by artisans using the Tradition Japanese craft of indigo dyeing evoke a sense of a new era of culture, born from the encounter between the artisanal culture passed down in the downtown area where the Tower stands and the Tower itself. The Tower , adorned in " SKYTREE White ," will shine even more brilliantly against the blue sky of downtown Tokyo, transcending time and space.

SKYTREE White blends into the blue sky

In the heart of the vast Tokyo cityscape stands the TOKYO SKYTREE, shining with a bluish-white hue as it reflects the color of the sky, blending seamlessly into the landscape with the white clouds and the gradation of blue sky above.

A white Tower symbolizing a cityscape that transcends time and space.

The TOKYO SKYTREE is designed as a new Tower that combines the Iki of modern Japanese technology with a focus on the Five-story pagoda , an ancient Japanese architectural masterpiece that the world can be proud of. White, a color that resonates with the Tradition Japanese aesthetic, is perhaps the most suitable color for this "simple is beautiful" form.
"White," with the sky as its backdrop, embraces a variety of colors, highlighting its beautiful form. Depending on the time of day, weather, season, and even fireworks and new lighting, it will become a shining symbol Tower of the Future that the world can be proud of, with ever-changing variations.
