Illuminate the night in Tokyo Lighting Design
I want to be a light that connects the past and the Future and reaches everyone's hearts.
Combining the Japanese spirit and aesthetic sense with modern technology, we have poured our thoughts into every detail, from color and brightness to the subtle shifts in light.
It quietly illuminates the night sky, as if reflecting the atmosphere of Tokyo on that day, of that era.
Both visitors and those who admire from afar.
One of the important roles of lighting is to ensure that the same light is shared in each location.

Lighting design and ideas Design Philosophy
Past 100 years, Future 100 years.
I want to design light that reaches everyone's hearts.
Looking at the history of this city, which has been passed down from Edo to Tokyo, the figures of people who gathered from all over the country and competed with each other have always been the main characters. Since the Edo shogunate, it has prospered as the center of Japan, and old documents and paintings vividly depict the city's history and culture, as well as the communities and lives of the people who live there.
I wanted to imbue the new Tower, which will become a symbol of Tokyo, with the spirit of "Iki" (sophistication) and the aesthetic sense of "Miyabi" (elegance) that have been nurtured by the people of this city. The TOKYO SKYTREE, rooted in the old downtown area and soaring high to the heavens, will express the spirit of Edo that will endure forever through light, and I want to design a light that will reach the hearts of everyone for the past 100 years and the Future 100 years.

All- LED design that harmonizes with the local community and is environmentally conscious.
In line with Japanese aesthetics, and aiming to create a project that symbolizes the era while reflecting the history and regional characteristics of the downtown area, we believed that the lighting plan should be environmentally conscious, combined with a design that expresses the beauty of light and shadow. Therefore, we planned an all- LED system, resulting in a design that balances energy conservation and beauty.
In addition to the expected superior visual effects achieved by using all LED lighting, the adoption of energy-saving LED lighting will also send a message that the Tower is more environmentally conscious.
