New Uniform
DESIGN RENEWAL
TOKYO SKYTREE has renewed Uniform as of October 1, 2020.
Staff, with pride and a spirit of hospitality, will welcome our domestic and international guests with renewed enthusiasm.
As part of the renewal, 97 years have passed since its founding, and it is Japan's first fashion school.
We solicited designs from students of Bunka Fashion College, a school with a Tradition and proven track record.
After a selection process among the participants, the design by Megumi Higashiyama was chosen.
Design Concept Traditional Modern
With a focus on rediscovering the charm of Japan, we expressed both the image of "old Japan" and "new Japan" using Tradition colors and patterns.
The textile design uses the "hemp leaf pattern," an ancient Japanese pattern made up of interlocking triangles, similar to the TOKYO SKYTREE. Because hemp is strong and grows straight, it is an auspicious pattern that was also used for baby clothes.
It was designed with the hope of further development of TOKYO SKYTREE.

The calm design uses indigo to highlight the products displayed in the shop. The shirt's hem is longer at the back to allow for a better silhouette and ease of movement. The simple silhouette is finished with a modern feel by incorporating a hemp leaf pattern.
Wearing a jacket is optional for Staff; it's a unisex Uniform.
Sorakara-chan TOKYO SKYTREE Official characters
