About group activities

If your school submits an advance application,
the school group rate applies even when students purchase their tickets individually.
Each group can enjoy TOKYO SKYTREE at its own pace.

Guidelines for group activities

Reception and admission

  • Application period

    From 12:00 am 365 days before the visit date
    until 5:00 pm the day before the visit.

    • If the start date falls on a day when the Group Reservation Center is closed, reservations will be accepted starting the next business day; if the end date falls on a closed day, reservations will be accepted up to the previous business day.

  • Admission times (reservations available)

    Admission to the Observation deck
    Weekdays: 10:00 am–10:00 pm (last admission 7:30 pm) Weekends and public holidays: 10:00 am–8:30 pm (last admission 7:30 pm)
    • You can enter the Observation deck according to its Opening hours.
    • If you require Group bus parking , you will need to make a separate reservation in addition to the bus Car parking reservation that does not include a Group reservation.

Eligible schools

1. Schools approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)

  • kindergartens, elementary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, junior colleges, colleges of technology, schools for students with disabilities, special support schools, specialized training colleges, and miscellaneous schools (excluding teacher training schools).

2. Childcare facilities

  • licensed daycare centers, certified daycare centers, accredited daycare centers, licensed daycare facilities, certified daycare facilities, accredited daycare facilities, certified child care centers

3. The following facilities under the Child Welfare Act:

  • Nurseries, daycare centers, facilities for intellectually disabled children, day care facilities for intellectually disabled children, facilities for blind/deaf children, facilities for supporting the independence of children, children's homes, facilities for physically disabled children, facilities for severely mentally and physically disabled children, facilities for children with autism

  • For 12-year-olds who are in Elementary school students, the Elementary school students rate applies; for 18-year-olds or older who are in Senior high school students, the Senior high school students rate applies.

Regarding group activity applications

School Group rates will be applied to students who participate in group activities upon prior application.

  • This applies to school Group rates and does not guarantee admission.
  • Since Admission ticket are Purchase on the day of the event, you may not be able to choose your preferred time slot depending on sales conditions, or you may not be able to Purchase tickets at all.
  • Admission fees must be paid individually by each student on the day of the event. Travel agency coupons cannot be used.

Application of the rate for visitors with disabilities

Rate for visitors with disabilities and school Group discounts cannot be applied together.
If you wish to apply for a Rate for visitors with disabilities, please make your reservation through the general Group reservation form.

Tour conductor and crew fees

When applying for group activities, there are no free slots for accompanying persons, regardless of the number of students.
The adults rate for school Group applies.

Changing or canceling reservations

Update your reservation

From when you make your reservation until 5:00 pm on the day before your visit.

  • Changes to the reservation date are not possible. Please cancel your current group reservation and make a new reservation.

Cancel your reservation

Please cancel your group reservation via the Group reservation web service by 5:00 PM the day before your visit.

From booking to your visit

  • STEP 1

    Please make your reservation through the group reservation web service.

    *Online applications are treated as requests and will be confirmed as reservations after the Group Reservation Center reviews the details.
    *Please note that requests for subgroup activities are only for applying the school group rate when purchasing tickets on the day of your visit and do not guarantee admission.

  • STEP 2

    Once we receive your reservation or any changes, we will issue or update your reservation confirmation.

    Please check your account page on the group reservation web service.

  • STEP 3

    [30 days before your visit]

    On the day of your visit, we will issue the 'applicable code' for the school group rate when purchasing tickets.
    Please distribute the code in advance to all students and school staff who will enter the observation deck.

  • STEP 4

    On the day of your visit

    Please have each student purchase their own ticket.
    To apply the school group rate, the "application code" must be scanned at the time of purchase.
    Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machines on the 1F group floor or at the ticket counter or ticket machines on 4F.

    If you are using the Group bus parking, after entering the parking lot, the group representative should register at the Group Ticket Counter on the 1st floor.
    Please present your reservation confirmation slip upon arrival.
    *Reception opens 30 minutes before your reservation time. Group Ticket cannot be purchased at the Group Ticket Counter .

  • STEP 5

    Please enter through the entrance on the 4th floor at the designated time.

    *Please cooperate with Hand baggage inspection and Ticket gates on the 4th floor entrance area.

Reservations for school groups

Group tickets can be purchased at the ticket vending machines on the 1st-floor group area and at the ticket counter or vending machines on the 4th-floor entrance. To apply the school group rate, you will need to scan the "application code."
*This code can be obtained through the group reservation web service starting 30 days before your visit.
Please make sure to distribute it in advance to all students, teachers, and staff who will be entering the observation deck.
