Key points of the Tanabata event
① We will implement a project to cooperate with "Starlight Challenge," a world-first artificial meteor shower demonstration project.
TOKYO SKYTREE has endorsed this project due to the high affinity between Observation deck and space/celestial bodies, and with the desire to make space feel closer to people, it is cooperating with the artificial meteor shower demonstration project "Star light Challenge" and will be holding a limited-time special event where visitors can write their wishes on the "W1SH RIBBON" located on the Observation deck 350 meters above ground, a place "close to space," and send them into space.
② TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN will be offering a Tanabata decoration experience.
We will be holding an event where participants can write their wishes on strips of paper and decorate bamboo branches or towers with them. The venue has been changed from last year, and this time it will be held at Solami-zaka Plaza for the first time.
③ At TOKYO SKYTREE, in honor of Calpis®'s birthday on July 7th, they will be decorating with tanzaku (paper strips for writing wishes).
In Official partner of Asahi Soft Drinks Co., Ltd.'s Calpis® birthday on July 7th, we will be decorating the venue with tanzaku (paper strips with wishes written on them) during the event period.
