At TOKYO SKYTREE, we have implemented systems and benefits that provide a secure working environment, including life support and career assistance, enabling employees to work with us for the long term.

allowance GENERAL

  • Housing allowance

    We provide a housing allowance to employees who rent their homes or pay a mortgage, based on their rent. (Eligibility requirements apply.)

  • Family allowance

    We provide a family allowance to employees with dependents. (Dependency requirements apply)

  • Qualification allowance

    Employees who possess qualifications useful for their work will receive a monthly allowance commensurate with the difficulty level of the qualification.

  • Commuting allowance

    Transportation expenses will be reimbursed at actual cost (up to 100,000 yen per month).

Work-life balance WORK LIFE BALANCE

  • Annual paid leave (annual leave)

    Six days of paid leave are granted upon joining the company, and four days are granted after six months. Thereafter, annual leave is granted every April according to the length of service, and can be used for a period of two years.

  • Hourly paid leave

    Of your annual paid leave, you can take up to 5 days (40 hours) per year in 1-hour increments.

  • Time off (special leave)

    In addition to annual paid leave, you can take up to 12 hours of leave per year in one-hour increments.

  • Bereavement and disaster relief leave

    You can take 3 to 6 days off depending on the occasion, such as marriage, childbirth, or funeral.

  • Refreshment leave

    You can take three consecutive days off every five years of service.

  • Save annual leave

    This system allows you to save up to 50 days of annual leave that has expired after two years as "reserved annual leave." It can be used in case of illness, injury, childcare, or elder care.

  • iDeCo+ (Small and Medium-Sized Business Owner Contribution Payment System)

    To ensure our employees can work with peace of mind and prepare for their future, we have introduced iDeCo+, where the company contributes to the employee's contributions in addition to their own.
    * iDeCo is a private pension system that provides benefits in addition to public pensions (National Pension and Employees' Pension). Unlike public pensions, participation is voluntary, and you are responsible for all aspects of the process, including application, contributions, and investment management. You receive benefits based on the total amount of your contributions and investment returns. Combining it with public pensions can help you enjoy a more comfortable retirement.   • Tobu Group Employee Stock Ownership Association

    An employee stock ownership plan is a system that allows employees to acquire and hold shares of their own company (Tobu Railway). In addition to Purchase shares and receiving dividends, the company also provides incentive payments.

  • Employee savings plan

    This convenient savings system allows you to deduct funds directly from your monthly salary and bonuses, enabling you to build up funds steadily and without strain for the future.

    Our employees are enrolled in the Tokyo Metropolitan Press Industry Health Insurance Association (houdou-kenpo.or.jp) (hereinafter referred to as "Press Industry Health Insurance"). The Press Industry Health Insurance has relatively low health insurance premiums and offers various health-related initiatives, such as unique benefit systems for childbirth and high medical expenses, discounts on use of various affiliated resorts and sports clubs.

  • Marriage leave

    You can take up to six consecutive days of leave within six months of your marriage date.

  • Wedding gift

    A wedding bonus will be given based on the length of service.

  • Family allowance

    We provide an allowance to employees who have a dependent spouse.

childbirth MATERNITY

  • Maternity leave

    You can take 6 weeks of maternity leave before childbirth (14 weeks in the case of twins or more) and 8 weeks of maternity leave after childbirth.

  • Spouse's childbirth leave

    You can take up to four consecutive days of leave within one month of the birth date.

  • Childbirth congratulatory payment

    A congratulatory gift for the birth of a child will be given.

  • Parental leave

    You can take leave for the necessary number of days until your child reaches 1 year and 6 months of age (this can be split into two periods). Furthermore, if your child is unable to enter a daycare center or similar facility, you can take leave until your child reaches 2 years of age.

  • Paternity leave after childbirth

    You can take up to 4 weeks of leave within an 8-week period starting from your spouse's due date (or expected due date). (This can be split into two periods.)

Parenting and family events FAMILY SUPPORT

  • Enrollment congratulatory money

    We offer a congratulatory gift when a child enters elementary school, junior high school, high school (technical college), vocational school (specialized course), junior college, or university.

  • Restrictions on work outside of regular hours and night work

    Employees with children up to the third grade of elementary school may request restrictions on their working hours and night work.

  • Childcare-related reduced working hours

    Until your child reaches the third grade of elementary school, you can utilize reduced working hours for childcare, with a standard workday of six hours.

  • Childcare time

    Female employees raising children under one year old can take childcare leave twice a day for 30 minutes each (60 minutes per session is also acceptable).

  • Childcare and work-life balance support leave

    Employees with children up to the third grade of elementary school can take up to 10 days of leave per year.

  • Childcare leave

    Employees with children up to the third grade of elementary school who require childcare or nursing leave can take up to 5 days per year if they have one child, and up to 10 days per year if they have two or more children. (Leave can be taken in hourly increments.)

  • Condolence money / sympathy money

    We provide funeral expenses in the event of a death in the life of an employee or a family member. We also provide disaster relief payments commensurate with the extent of the damage.

  • bereavement

    Within one month of a death in the family, you can take leave for a number of days corresponding to your relationship to the deceased.

  • Family allowance

    We provide allowances to employees who support a spouse or children. (Dependency requirements apply)

  • Caregiving leave

    Employees who care for a family member who requires constant care for a period of two weeks or more may take leave up to three times, with a total of 93 days per family member.

  • Caregiving leave

    If there is one eligible family member, you can take up to 5 days per year; if there are two or more eligible family members, you can take up to 10 days per year. (Can be taken in hourly increments.)

  • Restrictions on work outside of regular hours and night work

    If requested due to caregiving responsibilities, overtime work and nighttime work may be restricted.

  • Part-time caregiving work

    Employees who are caring for a family member in need of care can change their standard working hours to 6 hours up to twice within a three-year period.

  • Retirement allowance system (Mutual Aid Association for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises)

    To ensure that our employees can work with peace of mind for the long term, we are enrolled in the "Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Retirement Allowance Mutual Aid System (Chutaikyo)" operated by the Japan Workers' Retirement Allowance Mutual Aid Association.

  • Reemployment system

    After reaching the mandatory retirement age (60 years old), employees who meet the conditions may continue working until they reach the age of 65.

  • Comeback recruitment

    We welcome former full-time employees back to our company. (Selection process applies)
